Who Are We?
Tristan the Whippet
Like most whippets, Tristan is quite the contradiction. Although always up for a nap, at the sound of the lure machine or the sight of a rabbit, his 42 pounds are up to 35 miles-per-hour in nothing flat. Awarded the title Race Champion by the North American Whippet Racing Association in 2008, he ranked 12th for total national points in 2009. After napping, meals are his favorite activity. A wonderful traveler, long car trips are a good excuse for a nap, as if he needs an excuse.
Ginger the Jack Russell Terrier
A native of San Diego, California, Ginger loves to lounge, run, get attention over the other kids in the house, and eat. Given her chunky physique (although she gets lots of exercise), you would think her passion is eating. She loves watching the Jack Russell Terrier races at Balboa Park, and will be racing sometime in the near future. She enjoys sitting at home looking out the window and barking at all the bunnies around our home. Her favorite toy is her Kong, which we fill with a little peanut butter.
“Just Plain” Jeremy
A native of Northern California, Jeremy now resides in San Marcos, a community of San Diego, California. Ginger and Tristan, when he visits, keeps him busy and is one of the big inspirations when writing articles, tips, and product reviews. One of the main reasons he created RacingDogLovers, was to connect a passionate and tight-knit community to share open and honest information about their pets, experiences, and overall well being of their dogs. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two little boys, the outdoors, business, technology, home improvement, and writing.
